About Us

Guardians International is an established full service guardianship organisation and the only provider to have been independently inspected, validated and accredited by AEGIS (Association for the Education & Guardianship of International Students), Boarding Schools Association (BSA) and Quality Education Guardianship UK (QEGUK).  Our rating of “Excellent” in 2017 by the latter and the AEGIS lead inspectors observations in 2023: “Guardians International…. works closely with parents and students to create a safe caring and supportive environment for their students”. Furthermore, “Guardians International is a family oriented, Director led company who work together with a team of professionals in order to support students they look after in a family environment ensuring they (our students) get the same care as their own children would”.

Our approach does put your child at the centre of everything we do. We fully appreciate the investment that you are making in your child’s education and we believe that the key to success, is the environment your child experiences, at school, when travelling or whilst staying with host families.

Our mission is to make this rewarding and enjoyable, thus developing confidence, a much broader outlook on life and underpinning the social etiquette they are building at school. Members of our team have been host families and / or had their children at UK boarding and private schools, so we really understand the challenges your child will face as we have already dealt with these with our own children.

Our directors and staff have over 30 years experience of operating within the UK boarding school sector and are unique in combining:

  • Worked directly for leading UK boarding schools supporting international students.
  • We have staff that are professional teachers and that have acted as school governors.
  • Providing a mixture of education and medical backgrounds.
  • The highest levels of Health & Safety qualifications and standards available in the UK.
  • A strong focus on Chinese speaking students.
  • And Directors and staff have had, or currently have children in UK boarding and private schools.
